Motorola SLVR
The RAZR was hard to beat, fashion-wise, but Motorola may have outdone themselves with the new SLVR (pronounced “sliver”, as opposed to “silver”). It comes with everything you’d expect from a modern phone, though nothing really revolutionary in terms of features. It’s got a digital camera with 4x zoom, mp3 playback capability, bluetooth, Java stuff, e-mail, etc. The one interesting feature is the TransFlash removable memory slot. You’ll be able to swap out 512MB TransFlash cards, making this fairly useful as a mobile media device.
Reviews
Mobile-review.com writes:
As for the fashion component, the SLVR has no rivals at all. The size and the quality а the material are out of competition. The functionality competes with such solutions as Samsung X700 and Siemens CX75. This model loses to Samsung in the camera quality, its resolution, the package (though, the Samsung’s kit includes no memory card). At the same time voice tags and a dictaphone working during a conversation are evident advantages of the L7 (Siemens has nothing of the mentioned above). Samsung X700 is the most possible rival of the SLVR, that is mainly due to an active promotion and popularity of Samsung D500 (people see its successor in the X700). At the same time Motorola SLVR L7 settles a new standard for the middle class, which integrates both functionality and design. Judging the first price of the SLVR, we can surely say a new bestseller by Motorola appears on the market.
Mobiledia writes:
The SLVR has the unique ability to evoke desire; a powerful tool other devices seldom achieve. And as Ed Zander previously stated, consumers will either say ‘whoa’ and instantly want one, or they’ll be turned off by its unorthodox design.
For those looking for function, there better and more capable devices on the market today. But for fashion conscious consumers, there’s only one SLVR, and it may be just the right accessory to fit into their lifestyles.
Mobileburn.com says:
Thinner than even Motorola’s RAZR, and not all that much longer than a closed RAZR, the SLVR is really a very slight phone - one you are sure to forget about after you place it in your pocket.
The black color scheme seems to work pretty well with the SLVR, too - the name is sliver, after all, not silver. We do have a few concerns about the size of the keypad, though.

Just to add to the above, Motorola’s SLVR phone has a Micro SD memory card for expansion and a 2-3 day battery life with regular use. 5-6 hours of MP3 listening and 1 hour of talk time reduces the standy-by by 1 day but still a very good battery life by most standards.
Also while reviewing this phone on iNods.com I also came across the tentative price being $300+
